Fishing Rods

As I was getting ready to go to the river to have a fine day of fishing I noticed that the tip of my rod had been broke of by one of my careless youngsters who slammed the trunk before looking to see if anything was hanging out so there you have it a broke rod and that calculated into either going to buy a new rod or not go fishing at all. Rods now days cost too much for a person like me who is raising a family, I mean 3 kids and one dad equals 4 fishing rods, reels, and other various equipment to make the venture fun not to mention the gas, food and live bait if we decide to fish with minnows or crickets, yes this is getting expensive ,my god what will we do if we cant go fishing.

The best thing that could be done is to look online for a rod which will delay my fishing for a week but that is ok if I can save a bunch of money, after searching I found that Shimano Rods offer the best rod for the money because I found a spinning rod for less than 10 dollars that was comparable to my old rod but is a better than the one I had been using , it is graphite which means that its sensitive so you can feel the slightest hit,the kind of fishing we do is mostly pan fish because we like to eat fish but if with the right setup I can get great action with a lightweight rig and have more fun catching bream all day than trying to catch that one lone lurker giant bass that probably will never bite my hook.

Shimano makes so many different kinds of rods and reels hat you can come up with a combination that is unbeatable online but if you must buy at the local store don't expect to get a steal or even find the right rod that suits your budget because those brick and mortar stores take alot of money to keep open and when you pay extra that is what you are paying for.
